Promoted In PacificHeadquarters, 13th AAP Southwest Pacific—Marvin L. Sullivan of Pa ton, Iowa, has been promoted from corporal to .sergeant. He is a member of the 13th AAP fighter command's P-3H Lightning Lancers unit based in the Southwest Pacific.Since shipping overseas early in 1944, Sergeant Sullivan has served in New Caledonia, the Solomons and New Guinea.In civil life Sergeant Sullivan was in the retail drug store business. He graduated from Wood-burn high school in 1920, Des Moines U. of C. in 1928. and from the Capitol College of Pharmacy in 1929.Sergeant Sullivan’s mother, Florence Ekdahl, resides in Des Moines. His wife, Lorene, lives in Paton.
