Tinfoil Club WillMeet WednesdayThe V Tinfoil club will meetin the basement of the Cty Auditorium on Wednesday evening, January 28 from 7 to 8:30 o’clock for the first meeting of th enew year. The club organizl ed on August 5, 1941, is composed of children between the ages of 8 and 12 years and hasfor its primary purpose the gathering of tinfoil, leadfoil* and any metal needed by the government for National Defense.The club has not been meeting regularly since the opening of school in September, but the gathering of tinfoil has continued.Two very important recquire-ments of the club is that each member must present at least 5 ounces of tinfoil to be eligible for membership, and that officers are to be elected twice each year. At this meeting officers will be elected. Present officers are Patsy Gayle Bradley, president; Janine Welch, vice-president; June White, secretary; Mary Elizabeth Latham, treasurer; and Ronnie Phillips, reporter.Any child wishing to come to this meeting may bring at least 5 ounces of tinfoi and become a member.Mrs. F.
