Austin County Boys Placed in Outfits At Camp BowieThe contingent of Austin county boys representing the January call who left on Tuesday, January 14,! have been placed with various organizations of the 36th division at! Camp Bowie, Brownwood, according to information received from the huge army camp.Claude K. Barry was transferred as a private in the 72nd infantry brigade.W. B. Viereck was transferred as a private to the 132nd field artillery regiment.Albert L. Carpenter was transferred as a private to the 131st field artillery regiment.C. J. Zettel, S. L. Gregor, C. F., Brandt and Tracey Wilkinson were transferred as privates to the 141st, infantry regiment.
