Killed In VietSp/4 William A. Malenfant, 23, son of Warren B. and Klia (Brau-in) McCann of 87 Avon Drive, was killed in action in South Vietnam on Jan* 15. Sp/4 Malenfant was. assigned , io the 101st Air-bom Division and was. taking part in medical missions aboard a helicopter. . iA member of the U.S. Army since April 2, 1968, he had been in Vietnam for the past 10 months. He was bom In Amesbury, Mass.,' Oct. 27, 1947, and was educated in the schools of Scottsdale, Ariz.* where his family resided for several years. .He later attended Phoenix College.He came to Nashua with his parents in 1D65 and was employed for a time with Sprague Electric Co. Ho was a communicant of St. Christophers Church.Members of his family include his parents;. three sisters, Mrs. Ronald (Jane R.) Boss of Phoenix, Ariz., .foanne L. and. Catherine L. McCann of Nashua; his father, Leonard Malenfant of Phoenix, Ariz.; maternal grand-mol her. Mrs. Rose Drouin ofSP/4 WILLIAM A. MALE-YFANTTaflsvilie-, Ct.; paternal grandmother, Airs. Edith McCann of Malden, Mass., and several aunls, uncles and cousins.Funeral arrangements are Incomplete. The Ear we 11 Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
