Body ( i Korean V eteranjOn Way To Middletown{The body of an 18-year-old serviceman, killed in 'Corea lastyear, is on the way to Middletown for burial.He is Robert E. Williams, son of Mr. md Mrs, Charles Williams of 1709 Lawn Ave., a private first class w‘h the 24th Infantry Division. First reported missing in action, his parents were in-\?r*isformed on January 4, that he had been killed August 6, 1950. He is the ninth local youth to lose his life in Korean fighting.Pfc. Williams attended McKinley Junior High School, and worked at Kroger’s and Albers stores before enlisting in the Army in April of 1949. He was a member of a heavy mortar company at the time of his death.His parents were informed yesterday that the body is on the way to ' ~ States but no date of arrival was given.Besides the parents, the youth leaves a sister, Phyllis, at home; three brothers, Harold in the Air Corps in England; Gerald at home, and Charles E. Williams of this city; grandparents, Mr, and Mrs. W. D. Jones of Winchester,Ky.The McCoy-Leffler Funeral home will be in charge of arrangements.
