n-Body of Airlift Pilot To Be Flown to U. S.Special to The TimesHENRIETTA, Texas, Jan. 19. —Body of Lt. Ralph Boyd, killed at Rheims Airport while participating in the Berlin airlift, will be sent by plane from Germany Sunday to the United States for burial at Henrietta, information from Sen. Lyndon B. JohnsonWednesday advised the officer’sparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Boyd.Lieutenant Boyd was one of seven brothers, five of whom served during the war. One, who was killed in action in the war, was reburied at Fort Sam Houstonlast week.Senator Johnson said the quartermaster corps had sent a cablegram directing that the, flier’s remains be delivered to Pan-American Airways representatives.The Henriettan, who had beenan air force pilot for several years,was killed last Thursday.He re-enlisted in the air force Dec. 12, 1948, for service with the airlift. Since the war he had been a pilot for American Airlines.His wife, the former Miss Wan^ da White of Henrietta, and two children, Jim, 7, and Patty, 2, live in Fort Worth.Survivors include his brothers, Howard B., Burton C., WiLson W., Jimmy and Bernard V. Boyd. Lt. Clifford Lane Boyd, the other brother, was killed in 1943.
