Saturday, and Sul Ross. Monday, in the Field House. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.The Lions will begin the second half of their 26-game schedule, standing 6-7 overall and 3-2 in LSC competition. Tarrant, the conference’s Freshman of the Year last season, leads his team in scoring with a 21.7 output per game, ranking him fourth among LSC scoring leaders.Cabrera, averaging Just over 10 points per game, pumped in 20 points in ETs 68-66 loss to Tarleton last Saturday. Granger, a 6-5, 215-pound freshman, is leading the Lions in rebounding, pulling down an average of 11.2 per game for fifth in the LSC. Granger is also scoring 17 points per contest. 10th best in the league.ASU 2-3 in the LSC and 4-9 overall, brings the highest scoring team to town, averaging 78.8 points per game. The Lions are- lacking in point production. scoring at a rate of 69.1 per game for last in the 10-member conference, but rank second inscoring defense, giving up 71.2 points per game.SR. 2-1 in the conference and 8-7 on the season, ranks fifth In scorii* defense, giving up 74 points per game, and is eighth in scoring offense, with 72.5 points per game. ASU is third In scoring offense, with a 78.8 game average, and is eighth in scoring defense, with an 83.3 game average.The Rams lead the LSC in free throw shooting, hitting a team percentage of 73.8. Oscar Lott of ASU tops the conference in that category, hitting 93.3 per cent of his charity throws. ET Is fifth in free throw percentage. converting 67.8 per cent of its shots. Tarrant ranks fifth individually. scoring on 80.9 per cent of his shots from the line.Bill Shead of SR is second in free throw shooting, hitting 85.7 per cent of his shots. The Lobos are eighth in team rebounding among the confer-dice members, grabbing 50.7 per cent of rebounds in their games.
