Frederick, has completed a 30-day leave at home after serving with the Navy in Japan, Hong Kong, Hawaii and the South Pacific. A graduate of Frederick High School in 3961. he was enlisted in the Xavy by Chief James J. Saul, the former naval recruiting officer in Frederick. He is in training to be a naval machinery repairman and was assigned to the U.S.S. Delta inSan Francisco at the end of his leave.
