Pvt. Cecil R Malchow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Malchow, Cullman; Pfc. Hoyett D. Walker, son of Mrs. Bennie M. Walkef, Rt. 7, Cullman; Pvt. Richard J. Schnur, husband of Mrs. Edna Margaret Sehnur, Cullman; Sgt Henry J. Smith, son of Mr James Smith, Rt. 3, Cullman; and Pfc John J Evans, son'of Mr. James A Evans, Rt. 2, Cullman, were members of the 337th “Wolverine” Regiment which recently took* 3000-foot Mouht Pratone in the%Gothic lane, digging German soldiers out * of elaborate concrete pillboxes and earthworks on its forested slopes. The 337th Infantry Regipiont is in the 85th “Custer” Division, part of the Fifth Army in;Italy. Pvt. Cecil .Malchow, who received arm and leg injuries, has been returned to the States ,
