Schnur, husband of Mrs. Edna Margaret Schnur, Cullman; Sgt Henry J. Smith, son of Mr James Smith, Rt. 3, Cullman; and Pfc John J Evans, son'of Mr. James A Evans, Rt. 2, Cullman, were members of the 337th “Wolverine” Regiment which recently took' i 3000-foot Mouht Pratone in the%Gothic Line, digging German sol-diers out of elaborate concrete pillboxes and earthworks on its forested slopes.
