Pvt. Cecil R Malchow, son oi Mr. and Mrs. Chris Malchow, Cullman; Pic. Hoyett D, Walker, son of Mrs. Bennie M. Walkef, Rt 7, Cullman; Pvt. Richard J. Schnur, husband of Mrs. Edna Margaret Schnur, Cullman; Sgt Henry J. Smith, son of Mr James Smith, Rt. 3, Cullman; and Pfc John J Evans, son'of Mr. James A Evans, Rt. 2, Cullman, were members of the 337th “Wolverine” Regiment which recently took' i 3000-foot Mouht Pratone in the%Gothic Line, digging German sol-diers out of elaborate concrete pillboxes and earthworks on its forested slopes.
