The affair was ah so turned into a surprise parly in honor of the. birthday- and ap* preaching marriage of Miss Adri* anna Hajdas of 11 Kittler avenue.Miss Hajdas. an officer of the auxiliary, w^s presented a corsage of roses and lilies of the valley made by Mrs. Wilfred Si* rard, a birthday cake made by Mrs. Stanley Presnal and a wedding cake made by Miss Marie Herrmann. From the auxiliary she received a cigarette tray and matching box made of ceramics. Miss Hajdas is to be married Jan. 26 to Leo Rousseau of Schenectady. N,.Y.Games were played and prizes were awarded to Mrs. Paul Pause, Mrs. Julius Herrmann and Mrs. Emil Dobrow.olski with special awards to Mrs. Wilfred Si-rard and Mrs. Flora Burnette. Ore of the prizes were given by Mrs. Jerome Cross.Refreshments were served with; Mrs. Julius Herrmann., Miss Ma*; rie Herrmann, Mrs. Bruno Trz-; cinski and Mrs. Stanley Presnal; as hostesses. Decorations fea-; tured a bridal theme. !Plans were made for the next! auxiliary meeting Feb. 5 and forj a district meeting with Burnette-i Bednarz members as hostesses.! Feb. 17 in Adams. A covered; dish social will feature the district meeting with Mrs. Wilfred. E. Charbonneau and Mrs. John Tarsa as co-chairmen. _ Every member is expeded to contribute a food item for the menu.
