Met. In ServiceSp. 5 Eddie H. Vibbert, son of Mrs. Vlr'a Mao.Vibbert of Camden arrived in Okinawa December 22.I He is assigned to the HHB 30th Artillery Brigade as a cook.The 29-year-old soldier entered the U. S. Army at Indianapolis onMay 21, 1904. He completed basic training at Ft. Knox, Ky. Before arriving on Okinawa ho was assigned to the HHC USARSUPT-. 1IAI AP0 9G233. || The 30th Artillery Brigade i Air Defense), with one on-site HAWK I Buttalion and one on-slte Nike-1 HERCULES Buttalion, provides a major portion of the air defense for Okinawa. In order to accomplish this mission the Brigade is under the operational control of the 313th Air Division, U.S.A.F. Firing units of. ihe Brigade are on 24 hour alert and through continuous training and Annual Service Practices maintain a stute of combat readiness which is so vital in carrying out tills important^ mission. . *.
