GRADUATES AS AIR MECHANIC‘Corporal Emmet Flaherty, a member of the XL ' S. Marmes, graduated as . an aviation mechanic on New Year’s Day. ■ He attended a special school in Chicago for four months. He is a son of Martin Flaherty of this vicinity-Mr. and Mrs. Flaherty' have four sons in the service of their country—John, in. the army, Leo, in the army air corps, and Jerry, in the U- S. Navy.
