INFTY. BAND AND MACHINE GUN CO. INSPECTED SOONCapt. Forest R. Wright, of the local machine gun company of the 4th infantry, has received orders to prepare for inspection by a U. S. army officer, on Thursday, January 23rd. Major Robinson, of CampGrant, Illinois, will be the Inspectingofficer and he will inspect both the machine gun company and the 4th infantry band that evening. Capt. Wright is sending out the following order to both band and the machinegun members:Armory Headquarters Co. Band Section, January 12, 1919. Order No. I. .In view of the fact that this band will be inspected the evening of January 23rd, 1919, by a United States Army officer of the regular army, ithas been found necessary for the band to practice every Monday nighttill that time.It is therefore ordered that this band will assemble at its armory, on Monday every week till January 23, at 8 o’clock sharp. No member will be excused unless sickness prevents, and then an affidavit must be filled out by the attending physician.Every member in the band should have pride enough in the band to do this without further notice or action.Forest R.
