Indaed It is said tbay were striving aa wall aa freezing. But the moat shocking part of the whole affair was the heartless manner in wb;ch the dead were treated by the guards. We have bean informed, by good authority, that the body of one of the frozen rebels was taken off the cara At M ehigan City and dragged over the anowy ground, feet fordraost like a dead animal, soma distance to a warehouse. It is not known what disposition was made of it afterwards.
