Pippin Enlist Into MarinesA Hunt County resident, Richard Lee Pippin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pippin of 4302 Alpha Street in Greenville has enlisted into the Marine Corps and left for Marine Corps recruit training on Jan. 4.According to Gunnery Sergeant Rick Tomson, the local Marine Corps recruiter, Pippin will receive eleven weeks of intensive training at Marine Corps recruit deport in SanDiego, Calif. Upon completion of Marine Corps basic training, he will come home on a 10 to 15 day leave before reporting to his next duty station for further training.Richard Pippin
