Knox, Ky.OSUT is a 13-week period which combines basic combat training with advanced individual training.During the training, students learn the dutiesof a tank crewman,including the firing of thetank’s armament and small weapons. They also receive instruction in field radio operations, map reading and tank maintenance and repair.The private’s father, Leo D. Jenkins, lives at 407 Mary St., Richmond, Mo.
