Indiana Uncovers Civil War Battles Fought In StateBy HORTENSE MYERS United Press InternationalINDIANAPOLIS (UPI)—An organization meeting today at the Statehouse may set Hoosiers to fishing the Civil War all overagain.Anyone who thinks Indiarfa didn’t have any fighting on its soil during that war never heard of the battle of Corydon. Any true son of Southern Indiana can tell you that this “engagement” involving Morgan’s raiders was one of the two most important Civil War battles fought north of he Mason-Dixon line. The other one was Gettysburg.
