Jimmachi Japan, has been promoted to the rank of technician fifth grade.Corp. Lvjnmus enlisted in the Army in September 1946, and was j sent' to Fort Bliss, Texas where he took his basic training. On arrival overseas in December 1946, he volunteered for parachute duty and was sent to Matsushima Army Airdrome where he qualified as a parachutist.His parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Lummtis, for many years residents of Shamrock, have recently moved to Dumas tomake their home.
