Port Chicago Negro SailorsWho Mutinied Back on DutyWASHINGTON, Jan. 8 —Secretary of Navy James Forrestal:has restored to duty 47 of the 50 Negro sailors who were convicted ofmutiny by the Navy following an explosion at Port Chicago, Calif.,!in July, 1944, the Navy revealed today.
