Royce L. Burns Gets Promotion in GermanyRoyce L. Burns, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Burns. Route 8 was promoted to specialist four Dec. 13 in Germany, where he is serving with the 2d Ar mored Cavalry.Specialist four is an enlisted rank equivalent to the rankof corporal.Specialist Bums, who is in Troop M of the Cavalry’s 3d Reconnaissance S qu a d r o n entered the Army in July 1954 and was last assigned at Fort Knox. Ky. He arrived overseasin December 1954.Burns attended Holly Pond High School.
