Also two long look* i ed for and welcome letters.Many thanks for the package. It was fine. The boys all sent their thanks You see there is only ten ofus, and a small package goes a long ways.Well Myrtle, must break ymxi the news. 1 had (or a bunkie last night. Mr. Jas. Salters formerly of Athens, non' of Co. L, 166th U. S. Inf. Believe me he was glad to run into me, and I into him. His regiment went thru j here He slept with me. He said to tell everyone he sent his best. Also Wheler Dew. Glenn Jones, Hsrlev Maxwell and the Goodrich boys, all of Athens.How is the old world using you? 1 am fine and dandy. Got a nice surprise box from Leta the other day. Gee. but it was great. Homo made candy and of course we don’t like that stuff.■| Certainly was glad to get a hunch of 'I Messengers Salters had. And he was ,1 glad to get them out of his pack. He and the rest were in fine shape and1 * spirits.Am sending (enclosed) a little souvenir of France. About ail the censors will allow.
