The woods all around Twelve Mile today are full of hunters chasing the cotton tails. They are bringing a good price this! winter forty cents a head.•The flu is yet going about from house to house in Adams Township. Some families have eight and some have ten all in bed at the same time. The doctors are [ail reaping a rich harvest ofF the 'old flu crop. Well I am sure the ' doctors are doing all they can to stop the plague.Christmas time is going off nice !ana quiet around Twelve Mile.-I Dan Bock over’s son, Floyd returned home from the war last 'Saturday. Now Dan can have asoldier boy to help him with his In big job, as Dan is road supervisor all over Adams Township.Uncle Tom helped eat a big fat Christmas dinner in Denver with, his daughter, Mrs. Jessie Mussel-1 man, and family. Gee, it was a big Jonah dinner nothing lacking. Some of the dinner guests were: Mrs. Ella Rlack, Ollft Jones, Mrs. Vern Jones and her two daughters, Miss Olive and Miss Evelyn Jones, all of Twelve Mile,'then some more. Geo it was a grand big five course dinner.Well the goodies were too numerous to mention all of them however here is some of them: good roast chicken with dressing, brown gravy, mashed potatoes.rlrcodinfr lad
