! Not Bead, as Reported.| Joseph J. Love, mentioned in the following article taken from the New Albany Tribune, is a former resident of Taylor township, this county:Mr. and Mrs. John C. Love, of State street, this city, were much rejoicea a few days ago to receive a ltter from thir son, Joseph J. Love, stating that he was all right and on his way home. It had been reported that he had been killed in Prance but the rport was unfounded. He was wounded hut not dangerously, and is now on his way-home, having landed in New York. Mr. and Mrs. Love are quite proud of the record of their sons for markmanship. Both have won prizes for their skill. Joseph J. was considered the best marksman in Camp Shelby at Hattiesburg. He won three gold medals i which he sent to his sister, Miss LillieLove, and- says ‘‘if there is any one thinks I can not shoot, show them medals.” Joseph Love is said to be the first boy to enlist from Harrison county. He started when but 18 years old. John Samuel Love, his brother,• tdid not get to go across. He was at Camp Mills, had his overseas outfit, and was just ready to go when the armistice was signed. The skill these' boys had with the rifle they no doubt acquired in the hills of Harrison county, shooting squirrels from the tall trees, as the family moved to New Albany from a farm near Elizabeth. We congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Love on the return of their sons, especially that of Joseph, who had been reported killed.
