Dr. Malone Duggan Of San Antonio SucceedsDr. W. H. BeazleytAustin, Texas, Feb. 21.—Dr. Malone Duggan of San Antonio has been appointed State Health Officer by Gov. Neff to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Dr. W. H. Beazley of Houston nearly a month ago. While the appointment is effective immediately Dr. Duggan will not take charge of the Health Department until next week.Dr. Duggan was formerly a State quarantine officer and has served as president of the Bexar County and district medical associations and Texas Social Hygiene Society.
