In uniform since June 11. 1942. he has been overseas since Dec. 24. 1942. Wearer of the Purple Heart because of wounds received in November. 1944. Cpl Adolph has not been home since the day lie entered service.Melvin Meisler. S2C. is now in a hospital in New Guinea. He is 24 years of age. The mine sweeper on which he was stationed was one of the first ships in Philippines waters at the time of the invasion of Leyte.Cpl Forrest Meisler. 23. is with an infantry unit in England. He entered service Nov. 18. 1942. and has been in England since August. 1944Pvt. Oscar Meisler is 21 years of age and is now stationed at Kearns. Utah, with an Army Medical Corps unit. He entered service on Feb. 12.1943.Reginald Meisler. S2C. 20. has been stationed at a Navy base overseas since July. 1944. In a recent letter home he told of meeting a town of Pelican neighbor.
