CIVIL WAR VETERAN DIES. Cory, Ind., Feb 24.—John Barrett, 80 years old died Friday night of pneumonia at the home of hi* son, Freeman Barrett, two miles northeast of Cory. ♦Mr. Barrett was a soldier in th# civil war and was the owner of 120 acres of farm land and considerab personal property. He leaves t sons and one daughter, his wife h ing died two years ago. Funeral and burial services were held at Mt* Calvary Sunday.
