Up-ham, who.was in the city Attending the wedding of his niece, Mias Annette Kelley, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Frank R. Kelley, last evening, to Chicago today, where he will remain until his wifo has sufficiently ro-covered from an Illness In order to return to Marshfield.The marriage ceremony was performed in the First Presbyterian church, where fifty years ago last summer Mr. Upham’a funeral sermon wns preached, word having been received that Mr. Upham had been killed In the first fight at Bull Run. After these obsequies were held Wm. llpham was thought dead for months until It wrh learned from people returning from Richmond, Va., that he was alive and had been held a prisoner in a Confederate hospital at Rlch-! mond, he having been injured in the ; battle.
