Maude Foster, was seamstressMrs. Maude F. Foster, 87, of 729 Liberty St., died at 12:20 a.m. today, Feb. 25, in Franklin Regional Medical Center.She was born in Raymilton on Nov. 3, 1900, a daughter of Clinton W. and Margaret Jones Adams. She spent her early life in the Raymilton area, and attended the Heister School onRoute 965.Mrs. Foster enjoyed sewing as a hobby, and at one time was a seamstress for the Printz’s store.She married Ralph Foster on Aug. 6, 1919, and he survives, along with six daughters, Mrs. Theodore (Jean) Stellman of Rocky Grove, Mrs. James (Margaret) Harley of Franklin, Mrs. Loyal G. (Lucille) Shawgo of Grove City, Mrs. Donald K. (Lois) Fehrs of Cheektowaga, N.Y., Mrs. Nancy C. Dalaba of Warren, Pa., and Mrs. Paul (Mary Jane) Towers of Rocky Grove; three sons, Ralph L. Foster of Butler, Clyde W. “Bill” Foster of Victory Heights and Clair R. Foster of Franklin; 26 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by a son, Paul D. Foster; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and 11 brothers and sisters, Josie B. Adams, Mrs. Gene (Tenie) Lewis, Mrs. Carl (Florence) Adams, Mrs. George (Hattie) Willyoung, Walter E. Adams, Mrs. Floyd (Carrie) Adams, Mrs. Chris (Estella) Gimbel, Mrs. Ralph (Maude) Foster, Theodore R. Adams and Clifford V. Adams, and one in infancy.I riends will be received inthe Huff Chapel from 7 to 9 this evening, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Frank A. Towers officiating.Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
