Paris, Ky., Feb. 24 —Last night Major Williiama, in command of 100 to 150 caval-rr, fell back from Mt. Sterling to this placo,• _bringing in eight prisoners. They burned all their stores, tents, c. They started away with 18 wagons 17 of them were captured by the rebels and one arrived hert* safe. The rebels are supposed to bo near Winchester to-night. Their whole force as near as has beeu ascertained is between five and six hundred, under command of Col. Cluke. Everything quiet here to-night.
