Miss Handford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Handford. was appointed to her office at the Grand Assembly at Indianapolis.In the formal reception's receiving line with the honor guest were Miss Karen Camden, Linton, grand worthy advisor; Miss Geraldine Grabner, Jasonville, grand recorder; Miss Marilyn Exline, grand confidential observer; Miss Nancy Smock. Nineveh, grand Christian flag bearer; Mrs. Frieda Cramer. Worthy Matron; Sonner Faught, Worshipful Master; and Miss Judy Shorter, Worth Adivsor.Mrs. Frieda Cramer extended greetings and presented Miss Judy Shorter who welcomed the guests for the afternoon program of “Winter Wonderland.”She was escorted to the East with Rainbow Girls in ski and snow clothing while Ann Alexander sang appropriate words to Snowman’s Frolic with Mrs. Ralph Adams, accompa n i s t. Miss Karen Camden was welcomed with the song, “Winter Wonderland.” Miss Linda King gave the Twelve Month Prayer. “Echoes of God’s Love” was sung by Ann Alexander. Mrs. Edith Miller, a life long friend, presented in story the “Echoes of Dee’s Rainbow Life.” Mrs. Robert Markovich sang “May You Always” with Mrs. Elizabeth Springer, accom p a n i s t. Dee’s many friends compliment ed her for her very fine service in Rainbow. Mr. Paul Asbury, Sullivan High School principal, gave the closing prayer.Mrs. Ralph Ford and Judy Shorter were hostesses at the beautifully appointed tea table in the social room.
