Kiser, all of Slaton.Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Me Gehee and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Mason have gone to Australia and plan on being gone for about a month. Wouldn't that be absolutely fabulousMrs. Z. K. McKee was involved in a two car accident at one of the crossings here in Southland on Monday aft ernoon (today). No one was hurt and neither car was damaged too much.Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dabbs have just returned from a three-weeks trip. They first went to Ventura, Calif, where they visited with Herman’s sister. Mrs C. W. Steele. From there they went to Richmond and visited with Thelma's sister and family. Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Underwood. They spent | three days there and then j they went on to Mountain Home. Idaho and visited with their son and family. Capt. and Mrs. Travis Dabbs. David went out with them and then flew back to Texas They stopped and visited in Salt Lake City, Utah where they toured the Mormon Temple. Mrs. Dabbs says that it is just fabulous, so big and pretty. They visited two states that they had never been in. Utah and Idaho. They saw a lot of snow and everything kinda looked like a “winter fairyland. Even though they saw a lot of beautiful country. Mrs Dabbs says it is good to be back in Southland! Their son. Capt. Travis Dabbs will be leavingin a Christian enviroment is that we will regard our acfor Thailand sometime in the near future, but he will be coming back to Texas first. H i s family will probably move back to Slaton to live while he is overseas.The danger of being bornW. E.
