Memorial GiftVirginia Nichols Barringer, left, presents $25 to Dennis Andersen, right, for the Cass County Veterans Memorial to be erected in the Atlantic City Park. The gift was made in memory of her husband, Francis H Nichols, a staff seargant for four years with the 528th Bomber Squadron during World War II in the South Solomons, New Guinea and Philippines areas. He received five bronze stars and a Philippine Liberation ribbon for service.
