Another soul made happy. John H. Sammons’ pension has been increased. John is worthy of every cent he gets from the Government. He was a good soldier; and received a severe gun wound in the hip, from which he has not and never will recover. Was also a prisoner of w?ar for several months at Andersonville and other places while in the service. The Government should deal liberally with such men. Every Union soldier should have a pension.
