TRADES ASSEMBLY ANDUNION ADJUSTS DIFFERENC ESFollowing a suggestion of the American Federation of Labor for an amicable adjustment of the differences which, for the last year, have existed between the Joplin Trades Assembly and the carpenters’ union, a joint meeting of committees representing both organizations was held last night. Officers of the carpenters’ union assured the central body delegates that every effort will be made to again affiliate with the Trades Assembly and for harmonious relations between (he organizationsThe plan for a resumption of the former relation was discussed at the meeting of the carpenters’ union last night, held in the hall at No. €19 Main street. This union is one of t he largest in the city, and with the final settlement of its differences with the. Trades Assembly wilt co-operate whh the central body.The committee appointed by the Trades Assembly to bring about the adjustment Is composed of J. IT.
