A Mtrangfl Coincidence.Special Agent Wanner, of the Pension Service, relates a strange coincidence which he discovered while getting a widow’s pension for a lady in this city-He received the application of Mrs. Sullivan, of this city, for a widow’s pension on behalf of her late husband, Timothy O. Sullivan. The application was forwarded to headquarters at Washington and after investigation a report was made that Timothy O’Sullivan was discharged from the service on account of sickness contracted before entering the army and that his widow was, therefore, not entitled to a pension. Tpou looking the matter up Mr. Warner discovered that there were two men in thesame company, one named Timothy O. Sullivan and the other Timothy O'Sullivan. He has sent a statement of the facts to Washington and it is expected that Mrs. Sullivan will, after all, get thepension she deserves.
