I PROMOTED IN' COAST GUARD — Carol L. Mason, USCG, a former resident of this city and now of Levittown, Long Island, has been promoted to lieutenant commander. He is a son of Mrs. Earl F. Mason of Douglaston. LongIsland, and the late Mr. Mason. His mother is the former Miss Mary Agnes Walsh, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Walsh of this city. He has been assigned to Coast Guard •district headquarters in New York as assistant chief of aids to navigation section.
