15 Boone Co.Inductees ToLeave March 5Names of 15 Boone county youths who will be inducted into A the armed,forces March 5 were released this Thursday by Draft Board Chairman J. H. Brumhall. The men will go to Des Moines and from there to midwest army camps.Names of the inductees: Wilmar E. Littrell. 711 Crawford street, Boone: Clifton G, Dodd. 515 Carroll street. Boone; Francis E Rardin. 8101 Keeler street, Boone; James A, Whittlesey, Rt.4, Boone: Louis J. Erickson, Rt.3, Boone; Richard E. Eisslcr, Boxholm: Edward J Pagliai. Gilbert L, Sheldahl and Merrill D. Johnson, Madrid; Wilmer D. Olson and Raynold L. Rose, Ogden; Paul W. Heggen, Sheldahl; Dcrald J. Swisher. Woodward; Edwin D. Duncan, Fraser.These 15 men bring the total number of draftees from Boone county to 87 since Sept., 1950. Additional physical calls werereceived by the Boone county draft board this week. On Mar.2, 20 men will be called for draft physicals at Des Moines, and onMarch 22, 30 men are to report.
