IQ.A11 unusual number of recruits for the j Sixtieth have arrived in camp this week, stimulated no doubt by the prospects of getting into active service immediately the regiment is full. Soldiers and officers alike regret that they cannot join in the forward movemeut now progressing, and they are straining every nerve to ensure the speedy filling of the regiment in order that they may be in time for a share of the lighting, and the glory. Colonel Owen, who is untiling in his exertions, has reccntiy returned from Indianapolis having Tcecured from the authorities the promise of all reasonable favors fot the Sixtieth.
