RESOLUTIONS OF RESPECTTo the Memory of John Pieter:The following resolutions were pas* | sed by the E. C. Buckner Post, Feb. 5,1913:WHERAS, In the death of our late comrade John Pieter, Co. B. 46th Regt. 111. Vol Inft., another has been mustered out from our ever thining line.THEREFORE RESOLVED, Thatwe herein express our sorrow at the departure of another brave defender of the flag, one who gave proof of his devotion to the Union by more than four years of faithful service in the campaigns and battles of the civil war whereby his life was shortened and much personal suffering endured from f diseases resulting therefrom. |RESOLVED, That we extend to the |widow and family of our deceased | comrade our sincere sympathy.RESOLVED, That a copy of these resolutions be sent to them, one given to each of our city papers for publication and another spread on ourPbst Records.W.
