Nine Enlist in NavyNine young men from the county have enlisted in the U.S. Navy and are now undergoing nine weeks of recruit training at the U.S. Naval Training Center at Great Lakes, 111., it was announced by Petty Officer l.C. Gerald P. Erb of the Pittsfield Navy recruiting office.They are: Michael J. Kaiser, son of Mrs. Lila Amirault of 29 Harold St.; Dennis D. Leger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Camille Leger of 99 Burbank St.; William H. Hoeske, son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Hoeske of 203 Wood-lawn Ave.; James R. Fillio Jr., whose parents live at 31 Orchard St.; Donald A. Little, son of Mrs. Helen Nylic of I^nesboro; Richard J. Guidi, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Guidi of South Kgremont; David A. O’Brien, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman O'Brien of Becket; Charles B. Shove, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Shove of Sheffield and James M. Termini, son of Mrs. Eileen Termini of Lee.Seaman Shove, a graduate of Mt. Everett Regional High School, Sheffield, attended North Adams State College. Seamen Fillio. Hoeske, Leger and Kaiser attended Pittsfield High; Termini attended Lee High. Guidi attended Mt. Everett Regional High; O’Brien attended Wah-conah Regional High, Dalton and Little attended Mt. Greylock Regional High, Williamstown.
