Kemp, of Fairplay, is : spending some time with her grand-: daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Hartie, and j family. Mrs. Hartle's sister. Gracia Ahalt, was also in the home.Mr. and Mrs. Win. Smith received a letter from their grandson, Cpl. Arthur Rosman. of somewhere in Belgium, stating he was fine and had received the Purple Heart. W ord was received sometime ago of Arthur being wounded.Mrs. Junior Spreeher, who spent two weeks with her husband, Cpl. Junior Spreeher, at a camp in Tennessee, has returned to her home at Bridgeport. Last Sunday, Mrs. Spreeher was with her husband’s home folks, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Spreeher.Mrs. Kevin Barnhart was at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Hartie. last week. Their little son, Gary, has a badly scalded hand, tlie result of tilting a cup ofboiling coffee over his hand.
