Captain Marion R. Dupes, upper center, is in charge of the chemical warfare troops training and activities. After four years of ItOTC at the University of DePauw, from which he graduated with an AB degree in 1926, Captain Dupes received his commission with the Engineers, with which-he served for eight years. Later he was transferred to the Chemical Warfare Service and attended the Chemical Warfare Service School at Kdgewood Arsenal, Maryland. Captain Dunes was bom in Chicago, Illinois.Captain Clare W. Cazier, uppsr left,,Is assisting Captain Dupes. Captain Cazier is also an ROTC man. having received his commission in 1926 upon graduating from Michigan State CoHcire. Prior to this tlie Captain had _had CMTC training. His original commission was in the Cavalry; he was later transferred to Chemical Warfare and attended the Chemical Warfare School at Bdgewood Arsenal.
