Two Soldiers Injured In Ayer CrashAYER — Two soldiers were seriously injured and five cars heavily damaged early today, when a car operated by one of the servicemen traveling east on Route 2-A crashed through a snowbank and into a night club parking area, police said,Thd accident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. when a car operated by Army Specialist Robert L. Freeberg, 21, of Headquar-; ters Company, Army Security: Agency (ASA), Fort Devens, apparently went out of control just west of the Nashoba River bridge, crossed over into the j west bound lane, through a snowbank and into the parking area of the Rotor Club, where it struck four parked vehicles.FREEBERG and a passenger.Pvt. Prentice A. Baca, 23, of Co. D, ASA.- were removed in the Ayer fire department ambulance to the U.S. Army station hospital. Freeberg suffered cuts of the head and a concussion. Baca had lacerations of the chin, neck and forehead, and 20 si itches were required to close the gash on his forehead.Two of the four parked vehicles were totally demolished, • a third sustained $500 damages and the fourth, $200.
