NEW ARMY4 Reserve Units Are ShuffledCHESTER—Four Army Reserve units in the city, win be effected by reorganization- of the ' XXI Corps. The reserve area covers 5,000 officers and men in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. .: Maj. Gen. H. J. Vander Heide, corps commander stationed at In-diantown Gap Military Reservation, announced that--727 active reserve units will be consolidated to about 570.370 TRAIN HEREAbout 370 reservists train here in eight active reserve units. Batteries A and C of the 463rd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, 79th Infantry Division, will be -replaced by the 155mm Battery, 4th Howitzer Battalion of the division..A. new runit,. a. Transportation Company (Heavy Maintenance, Bight Helicopter) will be organized. The 324th Medical Depot will be reorganized and the 428th Strategic Intelligence Detachment will be discontinued.Units that will not be effected by the reorganization are the 304th Transportation Detachment (Intelligence Collecting); the 942nd Quartermaster Detachment (Petrol Produets Laboratory); Ambulance Company, Medical Battalion, 79th Infantry Division and the 446th Civil Affairs Military Government Co. Maj. Theron H. Perry is senior unit adviser of these units.Reorganization is expected to be completed by the end of July. It is part of a nationwide reorganization of the Army Reserve to .pattern units after the new pentomic structure” of the Regular Army.
