EDGAR MILESSpecialist 4 Edgar R. Miles | Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Miles of 214 W. 2nd St., Uhrichsville, has been awarded the Army Commendation Medal and Air Medal for exceptionally meritorious achievement while serving in Vietnam from August to December of last year.The Air Medal, a Presidential citation, was presented for Miles’ services between Aug. 20 land Oct. 28, during which time he actively participated in more than 25 aerial missions over Vietnam enemy territory. It was awarded Dec. 28.The Army Commendation Medal was given to Miles for ; outstanding service during a period from Aug. 12 to Dec. 25.
