LEGION COMMANDER — Eliot Thomas, Glenwood attorney, has been named commander of Harvey T. ftlmel post of American Legion, succeeding Ross Garrett,who resigned. Garrett will be come first sergeant of the new Company I In Glenwood. Thomas is a former Oakland attorney and assistant Pottawattamie county attorney. He was an army captain.
