nve year* lor a lorgery conviction in Johnson County.The two men were arrested in Osage Beach, Mo., Friday by police officer Harry Scott and Highway Patrol trooper Harry Lea after a police chase. The two were driving a car stolen m Lebanon, Mo., and were involved in a minor hit - and -run accident in Camdenton early Friday. Camdenton police gave chase and radioed ahead to police in Osage Beach where the arrest was made.ARMED FORCESf Chief Petty Officer Roussell, naval recruiter in Cape Girardeau 1 reports Norman Darter Jr., son i of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Darter ยป enlisted in the naval reserve as a j fireman recruit. He will attenddrills with the reserve unit in Cape Girardeau for one year prior to being ordered on active duty for two years with the fleet. Darters commanding officer of the reserve unit is C.L. Blanton III, LCDR also of Sikeston Fireman Darter lives with his parents on route three. He graduated from Matthewshigh school in June.
