OATH OF OFFICE ADMINISTERED TO HOCKING SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT PERSONNELMembers of Hocking sheriff's department are shown as they were sworn in for Sheriff Paul Hartman's new term of office by Judge Harley Meyer. From left, they are Leon Kieffer of Murray City, Joe McGatha of Logan Rt. 3, Harry Mock of 374 N. Mulberry St., Sheriff Hartman, Jane Woodgeard of Laurclville, Delbert Morris of Logan Rt. 3, Conrad Hewlett of Logan Rt 2, Paul Thrush of Logan Rt. 3, Tom Woodgeard of Laurelville and Ed Smith of Murray City. Thrush, Smith, Hewlett and McGatha are regular full time deputies, Mrs. Woodgeard is clerk-dcputy in the sheriff's Courthouse office, and the others arc special deputies. Other Lpecial deputies unable to be present for the special ceremony are Don Newton of 1367 Fourth St., William Grove of Logon Rt. 2 and Harry Stephenson of 170 N. Walnut St. Mike Howdyshetl of 555 E. Front St., is the department's night radio dispatcher.
