Rocky Mount, recently was promoted to corporal while serving with the Army in Japan.Corporal Macklin is 8 squad leader in the 394th Chemical Smoke Generator Company, part of the air defense force for the Japanese island of Honshu.Before entering the Army in 1952. he was employed by the Venetian Blind Seryice Co.
